Senior Product Designer
Statusphere
• Establish good design practices, focusing on interaction design • Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other leadership to understand the problem and design a beautiful solution within the time constraints • Communicate plans, progress, blockers in team review meetings • Frequently ask clarifying questions about the intended impact of the work, weighing options, and devising creative solutions to complex problems • Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, anticipating and prioritizing the needs of stakeholders • Actively advocate for users and stakeholders alike, backing up your opinions with experience, data, and industry best practices • Assist with training and onboarding of team members as needed • Contribute to team and individual development where needed • Foster an environment that supports Statusphere’s core values where team members feel empowered to speak up, contribute ideas, and collaborate effectively • Align and motivate product team members to execute on technical strategy and vision to meet deadlines • Contribute to and execute product team roadmap • Provide regular updates to VP of Product and Engineering on progress of key milestones, risks, blockers, mitigation, and issues
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud-based solutions
- 5+ years of experience or the equivalent working in a startup environment is a plus
- Experience in end-to-end user experience processes and workflows, including user journeys, task analysis, wireframing, prototyping, and evaluative research methods.
- Experience Using Figma
- Experience designing web apps for user personas, including creators as well as enterprise customers
- Experience designing mobile apps for iOS and Android is a plus
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with little to no supervision.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
