Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Sr. Web Developer to support the CDC’s Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP) by providing technical support for the management, operation, and maintenance of Web-based systems and related program tools. Responsibilities - Support CDC’s Enterprise Data Analytics and Visualization (EDAV) platform within the Microsoft Azure environment by developing, maintaining, and optimizing data analytics and visualization solutions using tools such as Databricks and PowerBI. - Design, develop, and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to prepare data from multiple data sources for analytics and reporting. Automate data workflows where possible to improve efficiency and data availability. - Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and program stakeholders to integrate data from multiple databases and systems while ensuring data quality, consistency, and proper data governance practices. - Provide system administration and technical support for SharePoint and related web-based platforms used by the program. Responsibilities include site configuration, maintenance of site pages, implementation of web parts, and ongoing system analysis to ensure optimal functionality. - Support program operations through development and maintenance of SharePoint sites and pages using established site templates. Configure user permissions, manage document libraries, and assist with spreadsheet or database imports to support program data management. - Develop and generate system reports including site metrics reports, site usage reports, and analytics dashboards to support program oversight and performance monitoring. - Prepare and distribute technical documentation of consultations, system discussions, and technical meetings. Documentation must clearly describe outcomes and action items using plain language principles and be distributed to meeting participants and designated SharePoint contacts. - Ensure all documentation, systems, and web content meet federal accessibility and compliance requirements including Section 508 standards. - Perform unit testing and validation of developed tools, scripts, and system updates to ensure product reliability, system performance, and data accuracy. - Provide technical assistance and training to program staff and end users on system functionality, data tools, and SharePoint capabilities. - Share technical knowledge and expertise through mentoring, documentation, internal presentations, and knowledge transfer activities. - Ensure systems and processes comply with federal IT governance requirements including Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC), Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), information security standards, and CDC enterprise architecture policies. - Provide technical analysis, troubleshooting, and system improvements to support ongoing program operations and data analytics needs. - Perform additional technical or program support tasks as required to support program operations. - Other duties as assigned Qualifications - BA/BS degree in a related technical discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics) - Minimum of 5 years of related experience supporting data analytics platforms, SharePoint development, or enterprise data systems. - Experience working in cloud-based analytics environments such as Microsoft Azure. - Experience developing ETL processes and data integration workflows. - Experience supporting SharePoint administration, site configuration, and reporting.
