CSS-Inc. may have multiple openings for Engagement Specialists to support NOAA's Office for Coastal Management (OCM) in event coordination or fellowship program coordination. These positions may include planning, logistics, coordination with external partners, communications, training, facilitation, subject-matter consultation, and outreach efforts. All positions are contingent upon contract award to CSS. Locations vary, but most roles allow for fully remote work within a defined geographic jurisdiction. Specific responsibilities and tasks may include: - Plan, coordinate, and implements logistics for events of all sizes: conferences, workshops, and meetings, both in-person and virtual. - Lead coordination of one or more NOAA OCM fellowship programs and oversee the logistics of one or more other fellowship programs. - Use adult learning approaches to provide facilitation services to partners, both virtually and in-person. - May conduct facilitation training as a lead- or co-trainer both in-person and online (synchronous and asynchronous), - Provide technical assistance on process agenda design and facilitation best practices. - Evaluate engagement efforts during and after events and solicit participant feedback. - Some travel will be to attend events, as well as occasional local travel. Qualifications - Master's degree (or higher) required. - 2+ years of relevant professional experience in event management or program coordination and oversight. - Strong communication and organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills. - Experience in engagement support for the Federal Government preferred. - Training or demonstrated experience in facilitation preferred. - Experience applying adult learning principles in a group setting. - The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, manage time to achieve project. objectives to meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. - Ability to pass a National Agency Check and fingerprinting background check and maintain it through the duration of employment. This position oversees the full lifecycle of Ever.Ag’s event marketing program—from strategic planning and budgeting to on-site leadership and post-event performance analysis. Working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams, the Marketing Event Specialist designs memorable event experiences that strengthen relationships across the agriculture supply chain and translate engagement into measurable business growth. Key Responsibilities Event Strategy & Program Management - Maintain and manage a centralized Ever.Ag event marketing calendar, planning participation across multiple agriculture markets and fiscal years. - Research, evaluate, and recommend industry conferences, trade shows, and producer events that align with Ever.Ag’s strategic priorities. - Assess event opportunities based on audience relevance, sponsorship value, logistics, and projected return on investment. - Manage the full event lifecycle including planning, logistics, execution, and performance analysis. - Partner with sales and marketing leaders to ensure event strategies align with pipeline generation and customer engagement goals. Building Ever.Ag’s Presence in Agriculture - Represent Ever.Ag at industry events as a knowledgeable, enthusiastic ambassador for the brand and its solutions. - Identify and secure speaker opportunities for Ever.Ag experts, positioning the company as a trusted voice within the agriculture industry. - Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and recommend investments that strengthen Ever.Ag’s visibility and credibility within key ag markets. - Collaborate with marketing teams to develop pre-event promotion strategies, including social media, email campaigns, and targeted outreach. - Secure attendee lists when available to support BDR outreach and post-event demand generation efforts. Event Execution - Lead the operational execution of events including booth design and setup, materials coordination, meeting scheduling, and lead capture management. - Manage vendor relationships and logistics including booth construction, event sponsorships, printed materials, giveaways, and travel coordination. - Prepare internal teams for events by providing lead capture training, messaging guidance, and social media best practices. • Develop an annual event plan that supports revenue targets and product priorities while aligning with key GTM strategies. • In concert with sales, marketing, and executive leadership teams, create KPIs for each event and measure success across attendance, engagement, pipeline generation, influenced revenue, and ROI. • Lead end-to-end event planning and execution, overseeing logistics, creative concepts, booth design, and cross-functional coordination to deliver standout brand experiences. • Collaborate with the customer marketing team to incorporate upsell and retention opportunities into event plans. • Coordinate with the marketing team on pre- and post-event campaigns that create buzz, drive attendance, and nurture leads through tailored follow-up and content experiences. • Conduct event retrospectives with a detailed analysis of performance metrics that will inform future event strategy and promote continuous improvement in future event planning.
