Primary Responsibilities: - Designs, codes, tests and debugs applications and components that meet all technical specifications and business requirements per assigned work items - Collaborates closely with stakeholders, product owners, and feature team on developing requirements - Refines business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions - Perform code reviews - Operational Excellence - build, deploy, monitor, and operation of production services - Communicates effectively with business stakeholders and technical team - Mentors junior software engineers You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in: - Full lifecycle of software development projects in an agile environment - Hands-on technical expertise in building web applications and RESTful web services - MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or other similar relational database management system - .NET Core, C# or similar object oriented programming language - Angular, React, or other JavaScript frameworks / libraries - Experience leveraging AI tools in the software development lifecycle in order to improve quality and efficiency - United States citizenship is required for this position. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a suitability or determination of eligibility for a Confidential/Secret or Top Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field - 2 + years of experience with Domain Driven Design - 2 + years of experience with Event Driven Architecture - 2 + years of experience with application containerization, deployment, and orchestration across environments - 2 + years of experience with CI/CD and test automation - 2 + years of experience building cloud-native applications in Azure or similar cloud service provider - 2 + years of knowledge of Encryption, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), understanding of OWASP - 2 + years of Basic understanding and ability to troubleshoot applications running within Kubernetes - 2 + years of Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and automated provisioning & configuration management - 2 + years of basic understanding of networking and internet protocols *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). • Develop scalable mobile solutions using Flutter and native integrations for iOS and Android, applying architecture best practices and Design Patterns; • Implement features, REST integrations, and advanced componentization, ensuring performance and adaptation across different devices; • Ensure code quality with unit tests, code reviews, automation, and monitoring (Analytics, Crashlytics, New Relic); • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on technical definitions and architectural evolution; • Contribute to the team's technical maturity by promoting best practices, maintaining documentation, and supporting agile processes.

• Design and develop social studies educational content (video scripts, assessments, and written materials) for 6-12th grade students • Ensure content is pedagogically sound, engaging, age-appropriate, and accessible for students • Write clear and measurable lesson objectives, and align teaching materials to meet objectives • Use technology, such as Google Slides, Sheets, Docs, Figma, and screencasting software • Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs • Continuously evaluate and refine content based on feedback and educational outcomes • Collaborate on special projects and assignments

• Develop, maintain, and evolve back-end applications and services in .NET (C#), following best practices for quality and performance; • Support technical architecture decisions, contributing suggestions and applying development patterns; • Work on code improvements and refactoring to achieve better organization, readability, and scalability; • Build and maintain integrations with RESTful APIs, external services, and legacy systems; • Work with data modeling and data access, ensuring consistency and good query performance; • Apply engineering practices such as code versioning, testing, and basic monitoring; • Collaborate with the team in developing solutions, sharing knowledge, and continuously learning; • Participate in refinement, estimation, and delivery activities within agile methodologies; • Support deployment and continuous integration processes in Azure DevOps environments.
