• Handle legal cases with a focus on sales and commercial law and represent the AUTO1 Group in communications with external counsel • If you have relevant prior experience: advise our business units on all matters of individual employment law • Support the enforcement of judgments obtained by the Legal Department • Negotiate with opposing parties, make decisions and draft payment agreements • Support our business units to make various processes (e.g., regarding subsequent performance) more efficient

• Manage all legal risks, ensure compliance with laws (data privacy, IP) • Provide strategic advice to leadership • Oversee contract negotiation (client/vendor), litigation, and internal legal team • Focus on regulatory changes, technology contracts (SaaS, licensing), and intellectual property • Draft, review, and negotiate complex IT contracts (SOWs, MSAs, SaaS, licensing, NDAs) • Ensure adherence to data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), cybersecurity regulations, and industry-specific compliance standards • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks • Oversee IP strategy, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets • Advise on legal implications of business decisions, M&A, new market entries • Manage internal and external litigation and regulatory investigations • Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and training programs

• Lead negotiations on a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS licensing agreements, Master Purchasing Agreements, DPAs, Service Agreements and more. • Collaborate closely with the sales, finance, security and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on deal terms and business objectives. • Provide strategic legal advice and counsel on complex commercial transactions, identifying and mitigating potential risks while maximizing business opportunities. • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of legal documents and contracts with a focus on balancing business needs with legal protections. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted legal advisor and partner. • Stay abreast of industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes that may impact the company’s commercial operations. • Assist in the development and implementation of best practices and standardized templates for contracts and other legal documents. • Mentor and provide guidance to junior legal team members as needed.
