Junior Water Resources Engineer

EHS Support

• Assist in the development and analysis of hydrologic, hydraulic, and hydrodynamic models. • Research and analyze environmental information, including stream gage, weather, and oceanographic data, to support model development and decision-making. • Conduct field investigations and data collection for water resource projects. • Prepare technical reports, engineering plans, and presentations. • Support the design and implementation of stormwater management systems, remedial designs, and other engineering projects. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success. • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in water resources engineering or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling methods and software (e.g., TR-55, HEC-RAS, SWMM)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or other design software (preferred).
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal water resource regulations (preferred).
  • Previous employment, internship, or co-op experience in water resources or environmental consulting (preferred).

Job Description The VCF Principal Engineer serves as the strategic technical leader for large‑scale VMware Cloud Foundation programs. The High Performance Computing (HPC) Engineer supports and optimizes HPC environments that enable advanced scientific research, data analytics, and computational modeling. This role works closely with researchers, data scientists, and system administrators to ensure that HPC resources are effectively configured, tuned, and utilized to accelerate research outcomes. The HPC Engineer focuses on improving performance, scalability, and efficiency of compute workloads while helping research teams adapt applications, workflows, and code to take full advantage of HPC architectures including clusters, GPUs, and high-speed storage systems.
