Senior AI Engineer

Alight Solutions

• Designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and AI applications that solve complex business problems • Design, build, and maintain AI‑powered search, summarization, and chat applications • Hands‑on experience building or integrating agentic AI systems • Implement information‑retrieval solutions • Develop production‑ready AI applications in Python • Build and tune OpenSearch / Elasticsearch indexes • Evaluate, tune, and refine AI models and system performance through experimentation • Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of overall IT or software engineering experience
  • At least 2 years of recent experience working with AI or ML solutions
  • Proven proficiency in Python
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SageMaker, Glue, S3)
  • Hands-on experience with OpenSearch and/or Elasticsearch
  • Familiarity with vector databases and vector search techniques (embeddings, similarity search)
