• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of People systems projects, including system upgrades, implementations, optimizations, and integrations with internal and external stakeholders • Define project scope, timelines and milestones, risks, dependencies, and success measures for projects • Identify, analyze, and resolve issues such as (scope creep, resource constraints, or technical bugs) that arise during the project lifecycle • Partner with Workday module owners and the broader P&C team to identify workflow inefficiencies and lead automated solutions • Develop the project management function within our team by creating standard procedures and project guidelines that can be used broadly across a variety of projects • Implement best practices of project management through leading activities such as Lessons Learned Sessions • Act as the primary liaison between the people systems team and the internal or external stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle • Lead internal project team calls • Be able to identify, prioritize, and escalate as needed across multiple workstreams • Develop training materials and communication plans to drive user adoption of new system features and processes • Provide status updates, project documentation, and post project knowledge transfer sessions • Establish and maintain People systems project governance frameworks, including documentation standards, decision logs, and risk management processes

The Rapid and Rural Logistics team is looking for a proven technical leader with extensive experience planning and managing the execution of large scale construction programs. As the R2L (Remote to Local) Construction Manager (CM), you will work with a broad set of stakeholders including Real Estate, Operations, Design, Launch, Startup, Delivery Experience, Legal and Retail to take the fulfillment center design from concept through the hand off to Operations. This position requires a firm understanding of engineering, planning, program management, contract administration and operations. Lead the Request for Proposals (RFP) process and vetting qualified contractor proposals, assemble bid submissions and foster the selection of the design build contractors Coordinate with the designers, building teams, cost estimators to establish proper project budget, scope and schedule Assist in obtaining the information and decisions needed from Amazon which are required to complete the construction drawings Manage approvals and permissions needed from the building Landlords Act as a facilitator of information required for by internal Amazon functional teams (IT, Safety, Loss Prevention, Food Safety, Operations) Perform duties as the primary Amazon representative on permitting required with authorities having jurisdiction Monitor and assist with all utility integrations such as phone service, electrical power, water, sewer Be the principle schedule auditor on behalf of Amazon, monitor site production, determine target milestones, track and communicate progress Develop capital appropriation requests and manage fiduciary responsibility for approved budgets Perform site visits on a periodic basis to confirm schedule progress, attend contractor meetings and act as the single point of contact for Amazon for the general contractor partners Review the contractor’s buyout, subcontracting, material purchase schedule and long lead orders Coordinate with the Amazon launch/startup teams regarding schedule and phased area turnover to ensure coordination with all stakeholder functions Audit the contractors punch list completion progress and manage on behalf of Amazon Direct the contractor through the document turnover and close out process Coordinate with Amazon property management to transition the building facilities to their care Lead continuous improvement and lessons learned efforts to improve standards, reduce costs and expedite timelines for construction programs

• Serve as the main point of contact for all assigned projects from inception to closeout • Provide support to the Development Team and Franchisees • Maintain Pipeline Reporting and maintain all project data within FranConnect and Smartsheet • Prepare & execute schedules of milestones to ensure schedules are met • Monitor contract performance to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and customer expectations are maintained or exceeded • Coordinate project startup (Kickoff) and closeout activities with all team members to prevent project delays • Evaluate project delays and develop solutions with urgency • Attend all project meetings • Make occasional site visits to assure the scope, schedule and quality of the project are achieved • Provide project and departmental status reports to members as appropriate • Ensure accuracy and proper control of all project or initiative documentation, to include confidentiality for any sensitive information related to project or initiative goals or objectives • Collaborate with architects and engineers to review and approve construction drawings and documentation according to company standards and specifications • Ensure all projects or initiatives follow and are compliant with company policies and procedures, as well as any applicable federal and state laws • Effectively manage project or initiative scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
