Role Description We are seeking a true “player coach” platform Engineering Manager for our core applications team, who will help grow and architect the next generation of our core platform applications, as well as the platform we use to build solutions with. This team will work with all our solution spaces, as well as new ones, working directly with internal engineering teams, forward deployed engineering teams, and healthcare care teams to automate workflows, optimize operations, and improve patient outcomes. In this role, you’ll truly own the platform experience that our Engineering Teams use on a daily basis, collaborating with our product, solution engineering and architecture teams to build the services needed to implement new solutions at a truly rapid pace. We’re looking for someone to define and build a next-generation platform architecture that will accelerate product delivery and scale our application capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Team Leadership: - Lead by doing - foster and build a team culture that promotes our value of “Plan, Do, Learn and Improve” and be an active contributor to the development of our platform applications. - Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent. - Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews to support growth and development. - Project Management: - Lead the design, development, and vision for platform applications and codebases. - Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with company objectives. - Drive agile processes and establish best practices for engineering workflows. - Technical Leadership: - Collaborate with Product Management, Tech Leads, and Design teams to define technical requirements and product roadmaps. - Guide the team in architecture and technical decisions to increase efficiency towards building pixel perfect applications. Qualifications - Proven experience (5+ years) in software engineering with 2+ years in an engineering management or technical leadership role. - Strong technical expertise in Python, delivering API services and event driven solutions on Kubernetes. - Experience delivering AI, machine learning, or data-driven products in a production environment, especially delivering conversational LLM services and solutions. - Solid understanding of software development best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and code reviews. - Expertise in Agentic Coding environments. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and alignment. - Proven track record of managing and mentoring engineering teams in fast-paced environments. - Hands-on coding contribution up-to 50%. Requirements - Experience in healthcare technology or developing solutions for highly regulated industries. - Experience working with data engineering, especially Databricks and Kafka. - Experience architecting solutions with Domain Driven Development (DDD). - Passion for solving complex operational challenges in the healthcare domain. - Conversational Spanish language skills. Job Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in software engineering with 2+ years in an engineering management or technical leadership role.
