Role Description The Enterprise Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products on web and mobile platforms through meticulous manual and automated testing and validation. A member of the Software Development Team, they will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. Applicants should have hands-on and in-depth experience with comprehensive testing strategies and automation frameworks and be highly analytical, organized, detail-oriented, self-managed, and possess excellent communication skills. Duties and Responsibilities - Review product specifications and technical design documents to understand them and provide feedback. - Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans for web and mobile platforms. - Perform functional, regression, integration, user acceptance and performance testing across multiple browsers, devices and operating systems. - Design, develop and execute automation test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks. - Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing. - Perform API testing using tools like Postman. - Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and similar systems. - Collaborate with the development and product team to reproduce and resolve issues. - Validate UI/UX and performance across different devices and screen resolutions. - Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and documentation. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. - 2-3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance or software testing of web and mobile platforms. - Proficient in Python to create test scripts and manage automated testing. - Knowledge of MySQL databases. - Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Zephyr, TestRail, JIRA, Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, Postman, and the AWS cloud platform. - Familiarity with cross-browser/platform testing tools. - Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards. - Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing processes, especially within an Agile environment.
