Power Solution Architect – Manager

Industrial Manufacturing

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solution Architects. • Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and support career development. • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Guide the development of scalable, standards-compliant power system architectures. • Ensure alignment with performance, reliability, and operational objectives. • Review and approve high-impact designs and proposals. • Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to align technical solutions with customer needs. • Facilitate communication between technical and commercial stakeholders. • Drive resolution of complex technical challenges across disciplines. • Support strategic business development efforts with technical leadership. • Oversee RFI/RFP responses and ensure high-quality technical documentation. • Represent IEM in key customer engagements and industry forums. • Champion digital transformation and integration of emerging technologies. • Evaluate new tools, platforms, and methodologies to enhance solution delivery. • Engage with vendors and industry partners to stay ahead of trends.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s preferred)
  • 8+ years in power system architecture, with 3+ years in leadership role
  • Deep knowledge of UL, IEEE standards, and industry best practices
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects
  • Strong communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Preferred Experience: Microgrid and advanced energy applications
  • Power equipment sales or commercial collaboration
  • Innovation leadership and vendor engagement

The PingCAP Solution Architects team is responsible for: - Researching TiDB's most advantageous industries and business scenarios in different global markets. - Finding the most efficient GTM strategies. - Providing these solutions and strategies to business teams in different regions. - Guiding our customers and users to craft and build reliable, scalable systems using our data platform through professional service. Our team is made up of hardworking software and database architects, and industry experts. Requirements - The annual anticipated base salary range for U.S. candidates for this role is USD $125,000 to $217,000K. - Four zones are applied with different levels of the pay range. - Actual individual base pay will depend on various factors such as the complexity and responsibility of the role, work locations, job levels, and relevant experience and skills. - This role is eligible to participate in TiDB's Bonus and Equity Plan, as well as our Sales Compensation Plan if it is a sales role. - Other benefits include health insurance, flexible vacation time, paid holidays, and parental leave.
