Solution Engineer, FHIR, CQL

• Sit at the intersection of data, technology, and customer success • Lead the technical "back and forth" with customers regarding Input Specifications • Manage the ingestion of customer data, load data into the system, and interpret validation results • Compare client "traditional" results against our eMeasure results to identify discrepancies • Act as the primary technical contact for client engineering teams; handle ad-hoc responses and keep complex investigations organized • Research problems independently to form a hypothesis before seeking clarification or escalating • Provide feedback and input into feature development
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of FHIR resources and structure
- Familiarity with reading a FHIR Implementation Guide
- Ability to read and understand any programming language
- A desire to learn new technologies deeply
- Excellent ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Organized approach to troubleshooting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or relevant field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience reading, writing, or debugging CQL
- Proficiency in SQL or a scripting language
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS)
- Background in HEDIS measures or Quality Measurement in healthcare
- Technical consulting experience

Role Description We are looking for outstanding technologists to join our Solution Architect organization to ensure that our product (TiDB) and solution align with the needs of our customers crossing SaaS and other ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) segments. The PingCAP Solution Architects team is responsible for: - Researching TiDB's most advantageous industries and business scenarios in different global markets. - Finding the most efficient GTM strategies. - Providing these solutions and strategies to business teams in different regions. - Guiding our customers and users to craft and build reliable, scalable systems using our data platform through professional service. Our team is made up of hardworking software and database architects, and industry experts. Responsibilities - Support business teams in North America, EMEA, APAC, and Japan. - Take responsibility in the new economy industry, ensuring the achievement of relevant business metrics at the solution level. - Enhance the Proof of Concept (POC) success rate of account teams. - Provide market insight into global new economy vertical industries (games, e-commerce, financial technology, SaaS, etc.). - Develop and implement scenario-based industry solutions. - Advise customers on architectures, patterns, and strategies for making the best use of TiDB. - Understand and develop trends in data technology, outputting high-quality technical content and solutions. - Establish industry influence and organize technology sharing. - Display a strong understanding of solutions innovation. Qualifications - Professional experience of 8+ years. - Master in at least one database or big data technology stack and product. - Broad view of data technology and familiarity with mainstream data products, including RDMS, distributed systems, and cloud-native data technology. - Diverse industry business and technology expertise. - Proficient in scenario abstraction and aligning with data architecture. - Demonstrated expertise in selling databases and deploying applications with leading cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc. - Outstanding communication and program presentation skills. - Strong sense of curiosity and a continuous learning mindset in database, cloud computing, big data, and emerging technologies. Requirements - The annual anticipated base salary range for U.S. candidates for this role is USD $125,000 to $217,000K. - Four zones are applied with different levels of the pay range. - Actual individual base pay will depend on various factors such as the complexity and responsibility of the role, work locations, job levels, and relevant experience and skills. - This role is eligible to participate in TiDB's Bonus and Equity Plan, as well as our Sales Compensation Plan if it is a sales role. - Other benefits include health insurance, flexible vacation time, paid holidays, and parental leave. • Support and Grow User Base: Working with our current and new customers, aid analyst users to onboard and use the system to ensure their success. Help current users better leverage new capabilities. • Assist Customer Integrations and Pilots: Work to integrate new data sources for new and existing customers to ensure successful onboarding. Initiate accounts, proper user configurations, and deployments for those customers. Assist in coordinating and running pilot programs with new customers, training users, answering support questions and making any software tweaks needed. • Rapidly Deploy New Capabilities Needed for Demos and Pilots: Working with Product, Sales and Engineering, rapidly take things not in formal sprints but are needed to support demos and pilots where rapid changes in the product are required. • Support Customer Meetings and Pitches: Support sales efforts in customer meetings, preparing workflows to walkthrough, ensuring key data and analysis are loaded and able to walk through.
