Role Description The GCG Automation & Factory Solutions Field Services team is growing, and we are now seeking a Sr Automation Field Service Engineer to help us expand our service offerings and support customers across the Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky region! In this role, you will serve as a technical expert in automation controls and related electrical components, supporting customers from project start to finish—including: - Hardware selection - Troubleshooting - Programming - On-site commissioning You will also play an important role in internal training and mentorship, helping elevate the overall technical capabilities of our team. This position is ideal for a self-motivated engineer who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, and contributing to automation success across a wide range of industries. For this role, we are seeking candidates in the Central / Southern OH area to accommodate ease of travel to customer sites around Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. When not engaged in work-related travel to customer sites or corporate facilities, this position offers a remote work arrangement; however, travel could be as much as 75% depending on work volume. Job Requirements
