Role Description The position is responsible for managing the lifecycle of products within an assigned portfolio, from ideation and strategy through development, launch, and ongoing enhancements. Partners with cross-functional teams to define market opportunities, translate customer needs into product requirements, and ensure delivery of products that achieve business objectives. - Define, refine, and execute product strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals and customer needs. - Conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities, validate requirements, and inform prioritization decisions. - Partner with engineering, design, and other teams to translate product vision into features, requirements, and solutions. - Manage the product development lifecycle, including backlog prioritization, release planning, and launch readiness. - Monitor product performance through qualitative and quantitative metrics, and adjust strategy to improve adoption and business impact. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, finance, legal, operations, customer success, etc.) to support go-to-market activities and ensure effective product enablement. - Serve as the voice of the customer and evangelize the product internally and externally. - Contribute to organizational best practices, knowledge sharing, and mentoring of peers as appropriate to level. - Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support business needs. Qualifications - Mastery knowledge of industry best practices and disciplines. Considered a subject matter expert within the organization and contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards. - Industry expertise and/or prior exposure to enterprise software, SaaS, or related technology sectors. - Experience developing solutions to highly complex and uniquely challenging situations. Assignments require extensive evaluation of alternatives and variables. Expected to make improvements to policies and procedures. - Ability to work independently toward long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated using independent judgment and discretion. May act as informal team lead and/or coach less experienced team. - Able to act as consultant to management and/or internal/external spokesperson for the organization on major initiatives related to policies, plans and long-range objectives. - Completed university degree with Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or professional certifications in product management. - 5+ years experience in SaaS Product or Project Management role. - Demonstrated experience in product management, business analysis, or a related discipline. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. - Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences. - Proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional environments and manage competing priorities. - Experience with Agile or other product development methodologies. - Familiarity with product strategy concepts such as go-to-market planning, pricing, positioning, and ROI analysis. - Experience presenting to executive audiences and/or industry forums. Requirements - This position will be fixed term, part time, 3 days a week, for the duration of up to 12 months.
