Payroll Specialist – Mid-Level
OBXtek
• Administer federal payroll using automated systems, including time and attendance, leave audits, retirement, allotments, and pay differentials • Process complex payroll actions including prior service costing, retirement code changes, and retirement/survivor benefit applications • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, suspense items, and agency inquiries • Respond to payroll inquiries through the ServiceNow ticketing system
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Five (5) years of direct experience supporting federal payroll operations at a cabinet-level agency
- Knowledge of NFC systems and federal payroll regulations
