About the Team This dynamic team will consist of nine members who are focused on the following: ensuring the company's Global payrolls are processed accurately, compliantly and per the established payroll calendars. Our goal is to create a multidimensional team that can think of the big picture with a continuous process improvement mindset. About the Role We are seeking a Manager, Global Payroll, to lead a high-performing team responsible for approximately 20 payroll cycles per month across 17 global entities. This role is ideal for an experienced payroll leader with deep U.S. payroll and tax expertise who thrives in execution, team leadership, and continuous operational improvement. Global payroll experience is a plus, but success in this role will be driven by strong fundamentals, sound judgment, and the ability to effectively run an established payroll operation. As a Global Payroll Manager you will partner closely with Finance, People Strategy, Legal, and external vendors to ensure payroll processes are executed accurately, compliantly, and with a strong customer-service mindset. Specifically, your focus will be to: - Own end-to-end global payroll execution with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and timeliness - Oversee and manage payroll operations across multiple entities and pay frequencies - Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed payroll team. - Serve as the payroll subject matter expert and primary cross-functional point of contact - Resolve complex payroll and payroll tax issues through hands-on analysis and clear execution - Ensure consistent adherence to established processes, controls, and SLAs - Manage vendor relationships and oversee payroll system functionality and enhancements - Maintain a hands-on leadership approach, actively involved in payroll review and issue resolution The skills and qualities you'll bring include: - 8-10 years of progressive payroll experience, with deep expertise in US multi-state payroll and payroll tax; global payroll experience is a strong plus - Proven people leadership experience in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to payroll execution - Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple payroll deadlines simultaneously - Demonstrated experience partnering cross-functionally to support payroll delivery - Workday and ADP WFN experience preferred - Equity compensation experience is a plus We know that the best ideas and solutions come from multi-dimensional teams. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The salary range for this role in the US is: $103,700.00 - 140,300.00 USD Annual Salary ranges may vary based on geographical location. This range does not include variable/incentive compensation, equity and benefits (where applicable/eligible). Role Description The Payroll Manager is responsible for managing, planning, and directing the activities of the payroll team to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient payroll operations for a multi-state employee population. This role also provides oversight and support for the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), including system maintenance, data integrity, reporting, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors. The Payroll Manager serves as the primary liaison between HR, IT, Payroll, and outside partners regarding HRIS services and support. • Lead mid to large size and complex consulting projects simultaneously. • Apply functional knowledge and expertise, working in collaboration with technical consulting team, in the implementation of business-aligned and driven Oracle Cloud solutions. • Align client’s existing business process and procedures with validated HCM Cloud methods to solve client needs. • Lead clients in workshops to formulate functional business requirements and align them to Oracle Cloud functionality and overall solution delivery. • Identify requirement and design gaps and develop solutions to align with overall solution delivery including how inbound and outbound integrations should function within payroll and the overall design and fast formula specifications. • Configure the Oracle Cloud environment to meet client requirements and design, document and configure Payroll. • Advise clients on options, risks and any impacts on other processes and/or systems. • Manage module track of project which includes: • Manage scope and client expectations for your module. • Identify project risks and communicate appropriately with project team to avoid and mitigate potential issues. • Manage the lifecycle of a project including completion of design and requirements, configurations, designing and documenting technical objects such as interfaces, fast formulas and reports. • Understand, identify and communicate cross module impacts that will conflict with your modules design or expectations. • Lead and support clients with the execution of test scripts • Participate in internal forums for training, teamwork, issue resolution and innovative design. • Be leaders with a vision in the Oracle Cloud space with innovative solutions around the product. • Train and Mentor junior associates. • Develop and implement long-term client strategies. • Act as the primary point of contact for clients. Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
