• Achieve Annual and Quarterly Sales Key Performance Indicators, Objectives, and Revenue Goals. • Respond to assigned inbound inquiries. • Vet and determine end-user business objectives - elevate the conversation. • Produce and deliver quotes, and book revenue to meet sales and margin goals. • Actively prospect to generate sufficient pipeline to achieve sales revenue goals and KPIs. • Will target and manage strategic accounts with a goal of providing outstanding customer service and expanding within the organization, finding additional business opportunities. • Demonstrate a winning track record when competing against Fortune 100 tech companies. • Maintain a deep understanding of the iXsystems value proposition and product offering. • Effectively communicate and present the iXsystems company vision, value proposition, and go-to-market strategy to prospects, existing customers, and channel partners. • Maintain a high-level understanding of the competitive landscape. • Engage with customer and prospect technology teams to effectively communicate and educate end users and decision-makers about the solutions we provide. • Collaborate with Sales Engineer and Sales Management to secure revenues. • Collaborate with Systems Engineer for customer/prospect configurations. • Collaborate with Business Development Representatives on the development of Qualified Opportunities. • Handle an end-to-end complex and technical sales process from a sales accepted lead • Document sales activities within Salesforce.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of outside sales with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development; consistently delivering $4M-$8M per year in revenues
  • 2+ years of IT infrastructure sales experience preferred
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota while maintaining customer loyalty and required product margins
  • Comfortable being the “underdog” and not just leveraging a name brand to open doors
  • Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of multitasking
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, planning, and time management skills
  • A positive, can-do, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to be both self-reliant and a team player
  • Background in Open Source Technologies a plus
  • Ability to properly forecast
