We are seeking a highly driven Controller to support a growing and scaling organization in the IT services industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands operational finance within a services model, and enjoys building processes that scale. You will oversee core accounting functions, manage both domestic and offshore team members, and play a key role in strengthening financial operations, audit readiness, and revenue accuracy. This is not a purely oversight role- we need someone who can roll up their sleeves while also leading and developing a team. This position is remote; however, candidates must be located in the Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia (DMV) area. Local presence is required to support leadership collaboration, periodic in-person meetings, and ongoing alignment as the company continues to grow and scale. The salary range for this position is $120,000 -$150,000/year. The base salary range for this position is an estimate and may vary depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, experience, certifications, and skillset, as well as internal equity and business considerations. This range reflects base pay only and does not include bonuses, incentives, benefits, or other forms of compensation that may be offered as part of the total compensation package. The Financial Controller is responsible for managing the organization’s accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance activities. The Controller will closely collaborate with the Group FP&A to provide actionable insights for Budgeting and Forecasting decision-making. This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial information, supports strategic and operational decision-making, and provides leadership to the finance function in alignment with organizational objectives. Essential Functions The essential functions listed below are representative of the duties required for this position and are not intended to be all-inclusive: Financial Management & Accounting Responsible for preparing all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of management reporting, including variance and trend analysis. Treasury management – maintain the bank account, manage payments, and receipts. Accurate forecasting and update of 13-week (reported weekly). Develop and manage finance consolidation reporting tool (Planful) for the site.
