Role Description The Manager, Rebate Operations is responsible for managing various assigned pharmaceutical trade responsibilities, including: - Contract interpretation and audit performance - Client relationship management - Supervisory responsibility - Understanding and implementing the pharmaceutical manufacturer rebate process - Submission and reconciliation processes - Working closely with the Rebate Account Analysts/Specialists to ensure complete, accurate, and timely manufacturer rebate submissions - Overseeing the support of the strategic positioning of the DART Rebate system and 3D Rebate Environments - Coordinating the SR needs for IT and Analytics - Training of Rebate Account Specialists, including development of training materials and policies and procedures - Assisting in the annual review process - Overseeing all administrative needs of the Rebate Operations team - Completing Finance reconciliation quarterly and annually Qualifications - A bachelor's degree in business or related field - 3-6 years of experience with proven analytical, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills in a health managed care environment (preferred) - Pharmacy Technician certificate (preferred) - 1-2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical rebating processes - Solid understanding of rebate processes and rebate contract language (required) - Experience in rebate contract implementation, advanced Excel, and PBM experience (preferred) - Ability to participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives - Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees Requirements - Serves as the support Navitus contact for pharmaceutical manufacturers - Primary point of contact for the Rebate Account Specialists regarding rebate contract submission, reconciliation, and allocation - Reviews pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts and makes independent decisions on contract parameters - Manages operational relationships with Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and provides management and finance with Rebate reconciliation reports - Manages operational relationship with rebate GPO partner and monitors performance guarantees - Responsible for IRC related audits, reporting, and client questions - Manage specialty rebate programs including VIO, VBC, Medical, and Point of Sale - Leader of the prospective rebate tracker and contract administration management for all of IRC - Assists the Associate Directors in annual performance reviews and goal setting for the Rebate Account Analysts - Handles performance management responsibilities for assigned Analyst/Specialists - Other duties as assigned Benefits - Top of the industry benefits for Health, Dental, and Vision insurance - 20 days paid time off - 4 weeks paid parental leave - 9 paid holidays - 401K company match of up to 5% - No vesting requirement - Adoption Assistance Program - Flexible Spending Account - Educational Assistance Plan and Professional Membership assistance - Referral Bonus Program – up to $750!
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business or related field
- 3-6 years of experience with proven analytical, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills in a health managed care environment (preferred)
