Credentialing Assistant – Pediatrics Central Administration
WashU IT
• Supports and facilitates all aspects of credentials onboarding & verification process for medical staff appointments and re-appointments • Accountable for initial and continuous verification of credentials of medical staff members • Ensures ongoing state and federal licensure, compliance with JCAHO and NCQA standards • Responsible for credentialing and reappointment of all medical staff members • Assists with initial state licensure applications and hospital applications for privileges • Maintains current and accurate data/information in system credentials database • Produces reports, lists, and rosters as needed • Maintains the permanent credentials files on all applicable medical staff members • Assures accuracy of records and maintains readiness for review/audit by delegated entities • Assures the confidentiality and integrity of all aspects of the credentialing verification program and process
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
- Relevant experience of at least 3 years
- Skills related to Credentialing, Medical Offices, Medical Staff Credentialing
