• Deploy and support web, middle-tier, and 3rd-party systems across on-prem and cloud platforms • Proactively ensure performance and availability of tools and systems via real-time monitoring and triage • Focus on incident prevention, mitigation, monitoring, and detection strategies • Investigate system resource capacity, performance, and anomalies • Troubleshoot platform and routing issues within on-prem and cloud environments, including configuration and management of load balancing, API gateway, and application delivery technologies • Drive automation initiatives to eliminate toil, increase efficiency, and enable delegation of support tasks using scripting and tooling appropriate to the environment • Work with monitoring and application teams to ensure proper alerting and observability for tools and systems • Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational standards for team processes and procedures • Contribute to architecture and tooling discussions, helping inform and set technical direction for the team • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members where applicable • Participate in handoff and assumption of support and deployment activities to and from other regional team members • Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise experience maintaining, supporting, and deploying to production middleware and infrastructure environments
  • Deep experience with Microsoft Server technologies and IIS-based application hosting
  • Proficiency with Linux (RHEL), including administration and troubleshooting
  • Strong working knowledge of routing, load balancing, and traffic management technologies; must be comfortable configuring, managing, and troubleshooting platforms such as F5 and equivalent enterprise solutions
  • Experience with API gateway and application delivery technologies; examples include Azure Application Gateway, Azure API Management, or equivalent platforms
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TLS/SSL configuration, certificate management, and traffic flow
  • Demonstrated proficiency with PowerShell scripting; familiarity with Bash and openness to additional scripting languages
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools; experience with platforms such as Datadog or equivalent enterprise monitoring solutions
  • Proficiency with GitHub for source control and collaborative workflows
  • Ability to lead technical conversations, contribute to architectural discussions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related technical field; or equivalent professional experience
