• Develop features that integrate Cribl’s data stream processing engine with data systems such as Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage. • Rapidly develop subject matter expertise in a diverse set of 3rd party technologies by provisioning, building, and configuring all systems and/or accounts necessary to facilitate the R&D process. • Design, develop, test, and maintain clear, concise, and robust code that produces the desired outcomes for our customers. • Develop expert level knowledge of software development using NodeJS and TypeScript (and sometimes even C++!), and be willing to become exposed to and work with Node internals from time to time. • Ensure product features are working as expected by creating robust test plans paired with comprehensive automated tests and writing integration tests. • Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, UX designers, and business teams to translate feature specifications into implementable code. • Work closely with peers on your team by providing feedback on feature design and code reviews. • Contribute and be involved in a weekly 24/7 support on call rotation. • Initiative and drive to help the greater team, even if it's outside your job description. • Evangelize our innovation and engage our users by contributing to internal and external community, documentation, and blogs related to the products that you help develop.

• Develop and maintain the backend services of our EV platform, ensuring that all components work together seamlessly. • Integrate with third-party APIs to implement external services into our platform, enhancing OEM partners and other external solutions. • Manage ingestion and storage of multivariate data sets that can scale to millions of users/connected vehicles. • Build and enhance data lakes to provide additional data analysis for different services and consumers. • Develop services to interact with connected vehicles at scale. • Develop and maintain front end “web apps” to provide UIs for our various different products and services. • Ensure proper security and data protection policies, procedures, and monitoring are in place. • Design, develop, and maintain third-party accessible APIs for data ingest/egress within the platform. • Write and maintain technical documentation. • Drive and embody the “Dev Owns Quality” culture. • Other duties as assigned

• Define and execute the long-term architectural strategy for our multi-cloud compute and traffic platforms. • Lead hands-on implementation for critical infrastructure projects, focusing on reliability, system automation and performance at scale. • Multi-year technical roadmaps establishing vision for infrastructure scalability, reliability, security, and engineering velocity. • Maintain a culture of engineering and operational excellence. • Technical leadership and mentorship of engineers through design reviews and code contributions—you define the technical direction and eliminate architectural barriers to execution. • Maintain end-to-end technical stewardship for your systems, ensuring execution aligns with architectural vision and best practices. • Act as a key technical advisor to Engineering Leadership and Product Management, influencing the strategic direction of Temporal Cloud infrastructure. • Cross-team collaboration to align architectural roadmaps and drive adoption of best practices. • Participation and leadership in design reviews for projects across Infrastructure (Developer Productivity) with a focus on automation, infrastructure, scalability, and reliability. • Partnering with Security to build ‘secure by default’ systems. • Engaging with key customers to help understand their deep technical requirements and enable their business with platform capabilities. • The reliability of systems under your technical ownership. • Ensuring team members have clarity on the technical vision, priorities, and the tools and processes needed to meet shipping deadlines. • Design principles for building reliable, secure, and scalable systems. • Grow others via technical mentorship, architectural guidance, and driving the engineering excellence bar. • Ways to best leverage Temporal’s own software to power infrastructure at scale. • Customer needs that drive infrastructure design and architectural decisions.
