Senior Manager, Information Systems We are seeking a technology leader to own our enterprise information systems strategy, drive data integration across the organization, and govern IT service delivery at HunaTek’s corporate office. This role serves as the internal authority for management information systems and technology (“IT”), ensuring that systems, data, and processes align with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and HunaTek’s strategic growth plan. This is a hands-on leadership role that will operate as the primary internal IT authority, leading engagement with contractors, consultants, and vendor resources as needed. Over time, this role will build a small team including Software Product Managers and Data Stewards working in close coordination with business functions. Essential Job Functions IT Governance and Strategy - Lead the IT Governance Committee: engage business leaders, assess demand, set MIS/IT strategy and vision, prioritize investments, and monitor performance against the enterprise technology roadmap. - Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with contract performance, organizational goals, and HunaTek’s federal services mission. MSP Governance and IT Service Delivery - Serve as HunaTek’s internal IT authority governing the outsourced Managed Service Provider relationship. - Manage day-to-day IT service delivery in coordination with the MSP, ensuring high system availability, cybersecurity posture, and user satisfaction. Cybersecurity and Compliance - In coordination with MSP, maintain CMMC Level II compliance and position HunaTek for successful recertification. - Embed federal compliance requirements into the data architecture and governance framework, including CMMC and applicable data protection regulations. - Develop, maintain, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance, security, and operational efficiency across the enterprise. Data Strategy and Enterprise Integration - Facilitate the establishment of a Business-Led Data Governance committee. - Lead the enterprise data architecture effort: standardize master data identifiers across critical business systems to enable interoperability and consistent reporting. - Implement an integration architecture that leverages automated data flows between critical business systems. AI Enablement and Digital Transformation - Establish and enforce an enterprise GenAI usage policy; lead vendor evaluation, pilot programs, and phased rollout. - Evaluate and pilot low-code automation for business process workflows including approvals, tracking, and notifications. - Champion continuous improvement that enhances collaboration, productivity, and business intelligence. Required Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or related field required. - 8–12 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including governance, strategy, and cross-functional program delivery. - Strong background in enterprise data architecture and systems integration. - Demonstrated success leading technology initiatives in a federal contracting environment, including: - Enterprise data strategy and governance - Master data management and system integration - Business intelligence and analytics - AI/GenAI evaluation, policy development, and deployment - Process automation using low-code platforms - Strong understanding of Microsoft cloud environments, cybersecurity principles, and DOD CMMC compliance requirements. - Experience managing MSP/vendor relationships, including SLA negotiation, performance monitoring, and contract oversight. - Ability to facilitate governance committees of functional business leaders. - Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical architecture into business impact for non-technical executives. - Demonstrated experience managing IT budgets, procurement, and vendor contracts. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with GovCon ERP and project accounting systems. - Familiarity with business process classification frameworks. - Experience with IT maturity assessment methodologies. - PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or CISM certification. - Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
