Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a public health terminologist
- Experience working with public health coding systems and standards
- Knowledge of Vocabulary Authoring procedures
- Ability to provide data standards strategy and modernization support for terminology tooling at CDC
- Ability to research and understand complex scientific and laboratory and surveillance nomenclature
- Ability to map laboratory assays to vocabulary standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
