WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Freight Audit, Process & Pay (FAPP) Analyst to support and enhance our transportation and logistics financial operations. In this role, you will lead cost‑savings analysis, develop programs that increase efficiency for account holders, and strengthen data visibility across the freight audit process. You will oversee key provider accounts—including managing user access, issue resolution, and performance monitoring for carriers such as FedEx—and serve as the primary liaison to our external freight audit and payment provider. By identifying process gaps, driving automation, and ensuring accurate, timely freight billing, you will play a critical role in improving financial accuracy, optimizing transportation spend, and elevating the overall effectiveness of our supply chain operations. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities): - Generate, analyze, and interpret operational and KPI reports to support daily freight audit activities. - Create and refine auto‑coding rules to reduce manual touches and strengthen audit accuracy. - Troubleshoot system, provider, and user issues impacting invoice processing or data flow. - Investigate, validate, and resolve freight billing discrepancies, credits, accessorial fees, and claims. - Review accounts for accessorial accuracy and identify cost‑saving opportunities. - Monitor FAPP system performance and coordinate resolution of provider‑related or technical issues. - Conduct cost‑benefit and cost‑reduction analyses to identify opportunities for improved transportation spend efficiency. - Evaluate logistics processes and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and automation. - Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify operational gaps, resolve issues, and implement sustainable solutions. - Maintain strong working relationships with transportation providers, internal stakeholders, and field teams. - Support automation and process‑improvement initiatives to streamline freight audit workflows. The salary range for this position is $ $86-90k This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.
