• Build and maintain excellent customer relationships to support solid business growth • Implement a consultative selling style that operates independently on a daily basis • Deal with optometrists, ophthalmologists, technicians, office administrators, retail store managers and store staff, authorized distributor sales representatives and any other customers in the territory • Meet and exceed projected sales goals based on territory quota established by sales management for the given territory • Use a disciplined approach to selling to uncover and meet customer needs • Maintain territory call cycle; minimum 6 customer meetings per workday • Quickly and accurately meet customer needs, returning customer inquiries within 24 hours • Regularly complete and update comprehensive profiling of all customers • Formulate and execute an effective call cycle plan to grow territory business; prepare and present account business plans for minimum “top 25” customers, as well as quarterly growth plans • Develop new business within the geographic territory • Maintain technical proficiency with CVI products and competitive products • Keep current with industry trends and analysis
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience preferably in the optical industry or related medical/technical healthcare field
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently

- Excellent organizational skills
- Anticipate, understand, prioritize and meet customer needs
- Adapt to a changing work environment; various situations, individuals and/or groups on a daily basis
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to make presentations to various sized customer groups

What you’ll do: Angi is seeking a Strategic Account Partner to grow and retain revenue across a portfolio of enterprise service professional partners — ranging from mid-size business to national private equity backed accounts. This role serves as the primary advisor and point of contact for partners, helping them maximize success on the Angi platform through data-driven insights, strategic planning, and consultative guidance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with excellent relationship management skills. They are comfortable operating in ambiguity, influencing both partners and internal stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to improve partner outcomes and Angi's business performance. Key Responsibilities Strategic Account Ownership - Manage a portfolio of Strategic Service Professional partners, serving as their primary point of contact - Deliver revenue growth goals through a blend of retention and upselling activities. - Build trusted relationships with partner leadership, providing consultative guidance that improves their outcomes and long-term partnership with Angi. - Complete regular discovery with your partners, understanding their challenges and keeping a pulse on their business evolution. - Lead regular business reviews presenting performance insights, strategic recommendations, and progress against key initiatives. - Collaborate with network partners on marketing strategies to help their members successfully grow on the Angi platform. - Serve as the primary escalation point for partner issues, de-escalting the conversation, driving cross-functional resolution and ensuring timely, transparent communication back to the partner. - Make account adjustments as needed to expand locations, edit partner tasks, align on forecast pacing. Data-Driven Partner Strategy - Analyze partner performance metrics — including appointment set rates, cost of marketing, and close rates — to identify trends, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement. - Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for partners and internal teams. - Review performance reports to determine whether strategies are working and recommend changes to account parameters such as spend targets, coverage areas, and communication preferences. - Forecast and track key account metrics including close rates, sales funnel performance, and seasonal trends.
