Account Manager

• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and strategic priorities. • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters, including proactive communication, issue resolution, and ongoing support. • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing accounts, collaborating with internal teams to present relevant Hitachi products and services. • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand Hitachi's presence within the client organization. • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and ensure alignment with company objectives. • Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and professional services teams to ensure successful project implementation and ongoing client satisfaction. • Monitor and analyze client performance, market trends, and competitive activities to inform account strategies. • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and internal stakeholders. • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and forecasts in the CRM system. • Stay up-to-date with Hitachi's product portfolio, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven 3-5 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within the technology, industrial, or enterprise solutions sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce), and account planning methodologies.
  • Ability to strategically identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel as needed to client sites.
  • Knowledge of Hitachi's products and services, or a strong desire to learn, is a plus.
