Commercialization Solution Development Manager
Vatica Health
• Partners with sales, client success, marketing, operations, product and legal/compliance teams to complete strategic solution development projects that address market needs (current and emerging) or resolve market concerns, deliver measurable customer value and support profitable Vatica growth • Maintains current market knowledge including customer and competitive landscape • Leads go-to-market activities such as standard solution definition, marketing material development, pricing modeling, value measurement and sales training • Works with clients, sales teams and internal stakeholders to continuously drive innovation into Vatica solution portfolio through design, build and deployment of new products and services • Creates financial models in partnership with finance and commercialization leadership to ensure long-term business viability, effective investment in new capabilities and appropriate pricing in the market • Monitors pilots and beta deployments to find improvement opportunities to optimize generally available solutions or sunset capabilities • Leads cross-functional launch planning for new market solutions, strategic enhancements, and market expansions, ensuring cross-department readiness and overall viability • Supports the continuous improvement of internal commercialization business processes • Reflects voice of the market when working with internal operations and product partners to advance Vatica solutions, proactively gathering and translating customer needs into business requirements that create a win-win for Vatica and our customers • Applies current market intelligence, business knowledge and data to capture solution ideas for development and create business recommendations with clear financial model, market applicability and operational/product scalability business standards • Proactively identifies risks and escalates issues; recommends mitigation steps • Builds a collaborative, innovative culture of partners internally across Vatica teams • Represents work and idea proposals in internal forums, delivering clear, concise verbal and written communication; supports client communication when needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of healthcare industry experience, including experiences with a health plan or health care delivery organizations
- Client relationship management or client partnership experience in a health care environment
- Demonstrated success in taking concepts from idea stage to deployment based on financial, operational and client satisfaction outcomes
- Track record of building influential, collaborative relationships with internal business stakeholders and leading matrixed teams to advance business projects and achieve results
- Familiarity with agile product development and lifecycle stage gate processes
- Experience in launching technology or technology-enabled service solutions into payer, provider, or value-based care markets
- Demonstrated financial acumen in building business cases and pricing models
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills, including well-developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated self-starter with strong planning, organization, analytics and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, sometime ambiguous environment
- Graduate degree in a related field (e.g., MBA, MHA)
- Recent direct experience with Risk Adjustment and Quality
- Experience working with product planning tools (e.g., Aha!)
