Job Description

Sales Manager, Natural Channel

Kevin's Natural Foods

• Design and implement a Strategic Sales Plan outlining a methodical approach for calling on prospective accounts. • Develops, builds, and nurtures customer relationships with a focus on driving revenue growth for Kevin's Natural Foods and expanding ACV, average items, and promotions. • Travel to prospective customers to lead cuttings and sales presentations. • Hold regular status calls and face-to-face planning meetings with existing accounts to foster long term relationships and drive organic growth. • Participate in the planning and monitoring of promotional activity supporting Kevin’s Natural Foods programs. • Manages active trade, forecasting, and replenishment budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources and alignment with sales and inventory goals. • Engage company resources in Marketing and Product Development effectively to meet sales objectives. • Keep a pulse on emerging trends, new products, and competition status. • Determine and codify sales targets based on the market opportunity and the company’s business objectives. • Assists in creating fully integrated trade plans with defined business objectives. • Influences demand planning processes to enhance forecasting accuracy. • Supports the development of a fully integrated sales plan for customers. • Attend trade shows and relevant customer meetings. • Support the Director in managing the external broker network. • Collaborates cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, demand planning, finance, and category teams. • Work closely with brokers and distributors. • Other duties as assigned or necessary.

Job Requirements

  • BS degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a successful sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Resourceful and driven with a proven track record of performance in a work environment with a high level of autonomy.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work with and understand syndicated data.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
