District Sales Manager – New England
Emerson
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans • Identify and pursue new business opportunities • Build and maintain a sales pipeline • Conduct market research and competitive analysis • Actively engage channel partners and hold them accountable to sales targets • Maintain relationships with existing key customers • Prepare regular sales reports and provide accurate sales forecasts • Stay up to date with industry trends and conduct product presentations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industrial sales experience
- A minimum of 2 years of related sales experience
- Technical proficiency with the ability to understand technical issues and troubleshoot problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal & negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Willingness to travel 25% - 35% with overnight and extended travel days
