About the role: We are seeking an exceptional Technical Sourcer to join our Talent Team. This role will report to the Director of Technical Recruiting. In this role, you’ll focus on building strong pipelines, developing creative sourcing strategies, and partnering closely with Technical Recruiters and Hiring Managers to ensure we are reaching and attracting the best candidates in the market. This is a 6 month contract. Where you will work: Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is available for individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to HQ. What you will do: - Proactively identify and engage high-quality candidates across multiple technical disciplines using a diverse range of sourcing tools, channels, and methods - Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs - Partner with Technical Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand role requirements, target profiles, and sourcing priorities - Conduct thorough intake discussions to align on sourcing strategies, market insights, and search expectations - Deliver an exceptional outreach and initial candidate experience that reflects Garner’s values and mission - Maintain accurate and organized candidate data within our ATS (Greenhouse) to ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity - Provide market insights and recommendations to help influence search strategy and hiring decisions The ideal candidate has: - 4+ years of experience in technical sourcing and/or full cycle recruiting, ideally in a high-growth environment, startup, or tech company - Proven success building pipelines for engineering, data, or product roles and engaging passive talent - Strong relationship-building skills and a consultative approach when partnering with recruiters and hiring team - Creativity and persistence in finding talent through multiple sourcing channels, from traditional tools to unconventional methods - A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.
