Job Requirements
- 5+ years leading software engineering teams, including managing distributed teams
- 8+ years of experience in software development, preferably within SaaS environments
- Experience leading full-stack teams (UI and backend)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP acceptable)
- Familiarity with modern development stacks such as Rust, Elixir, Java, Spring Boot, React, Next.js, Redis, and AWS ecosystems
- Deep knowledge of SDLC best practices, DevOps principles, and secure software development.

Role Description We are seeking an Engineering Manager I who will support multiple projects and lead a growing team of engineers & technical resources with strong dotted lines to sales & project management. The Manager – Solution Engineering leads a critical engineering function responsible for productizing consulting IP, scaling digital advisory capabilities, and enabling Technical Advisory’s transition from bespoke services to platform-driven, repeatable solutions. This role operates at an organizational leadership level, driving multi-year strategy, managing multiple workstreams and senior engineers/architects, and delivering measurable business impact through an OKR-based operating model. The M3 leader is accountable for execution excellence, technical direction, organizational health, and cross-functional alignment across Consulting, Sales, Product, Enterprise Customer Success, and Platform teams.
