Role Description GovCIO is currently hiring for a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support the VA's DBRS team. This position will be fully remote within the United States. - Provides clients advice and technological solutions to support clients' demands. - Work performed includes technology integration or process improvement for a variety of business functions. - Requires extensive research of clients' needs and capabilities. - Performs various activities such as detailing all support requests, issues, action items, trouble calls, and resolutions. - Events may include adding new users, removing old users, and answering calls to filed questions concerning the PSETS application. - Meets and interacts with clients to capture and translate business requirements into technical requirements. - Develops functional and system design specifications for client engagements. - Identifies tools that help the client share information, manage processes, and convert raw data into information to manage processes and make informed decisions. - Collaborates with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyzes tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. - Must be knowledgeable of current technological advancements and solutions.
