This role is ideal for a senior-level QA professional with a strong background in manual and automated testing, and must have hands-on experience with Playwright automation and scripting using JavaScript or TypeScript. • Configure and integrate substation automation systems (e.g., MicroSCADA or similar platforms). • Engineer and test IEC 61850 systems, including MMS, GOOSE, and IED configuration. • Build HMI screens and support SCADA database configuration. • Configure protection relays and IEDs (Hitachi, SEL, or equivalent) using vendor engineering tools. • Program and test RTUs (e.g., RTU560 or similar), including logic, communication mapping, and point ‑ to ‑ point testing. • Configure industrial Ethernet switches, VLANs, PRP, and perform network troubleshooting. • Integrate communication protocols such as DNP3, IEC 104, Modbus, SNMP. • Interpret and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, and single ‑ line diagrams. • Perform system troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark. • Apply power system protection concepts in commissioning and validation activities. • Interface with customers and team members during testing, energization, and issue resolution.
