Role Description As an Engineer II, you contribute meaningfully to the success of one or more projects or products, helping drive positive outcomes. You demonstrate proficiency and specialized skill in one or more key technologies relevant to the team’s goals. You accurately scope, estimate, design, and deliver medium-to-large features while actively reducing technical debt across projects or products. You proactively support and collaborate with team members, fostering a positive and productive team environment. You adhere to established team processes, ensuring a steady and reliable delivery of features to production. These are the types of things you’ll be working on: - Test Automation and QA execution - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust test automation frameworks and scripts. - Write, execute, and evaluate test cases to target areas of most risk, and provide testing metrics. - Implement automated testing of various features across multiple systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the software testing process. - Independently develop performance, functional, behavioral, API, and 508 (any as needed) test scripts using applicable tools, create test scenarios and execute tests. - Defect Management and Quality Strategy - Collaborate closely with software developers to identify and fix software bugs and defects. - Assist in defining and implementing strategies for integration and system testing. - Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define, prioritize, and communicate QA/Testing requirements. - Agile Team Participation - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the team. - CI/CD & DevOps Integration - Contribute to the creation of a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) environment. - Code Quality & Architectural Alignment - Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. - Planning & Delivery Support - Assist in the estimation, prioritization, and planning of development tasks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. - Documentation & Maintenance - Document and maintain the functionality of test cases and automation scripts. Qualifications - US Citizenship or Green Card. No exceptions. - A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. - 4+ years of hands-on testing (performance, functional, behavioral, API, and 508) experience. - 3+ years of test automation experience on Salesforce Platform (Copado Robotic Testing preferred). - 3+ years of test experience on data-centric application and systems. - Experienced creating test data for healthcare datasets such as provider, beneficiary/patient, quality measures and claims data. - Experienced testing APIs. - Experienced conducting User Acceptance Testing with users, collecting inputs from users, and supporting users with potential workarounds. - Experience with Agile methodologies. - Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Demonstrated experience working on large integration systems and executing large-scale projects with large data sets from conception through implementation. Requirements - US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US without Sponsorship. - US Residency for at least the past 3 years. - Able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation.
