Role Description Sika is looking for an experienced Service Representative to join its growing team in the Sealy, TX area for the Roofing business. The sales representative is responsible for: - Coordinating with local manufacturer’s representatives to accomplish goals and objectives. - Creating and identifying new market opportunities. - Overseeing specification activity through Roofing Consultants, Architects, Engineers, and all other influencing parties. - Managing roofing contractor accounts, including bid returns, receivables, and territory coverage. - Establishing and managing key owner relationships and activities within the territory. - Providing weekly and monthly sales activity reports. - Assessing project pricing including general pricing directives. - Conducting box lunch seminar presentations and sample/literature presentations. - Writing specifications and following company environmental and safety policies. - Understanding client and building owner needs. - Possessing a prominent level of technical skills to determine which products and systems best fit unique applications. - Offering Roofing and Waterproofing solutions. - Overseeing partners (installers) and owner’s sales daily, monthly, and yearly. - Traveling up to 80% for internal meetings and client sites. Telecommuting is permitted 100% of the time.
