Technical Communication Specialist

• Develop a deep understanding of the products • Create high-quality technical videos and written content in an environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines • Create interactive self-guided training courses using video and written content • Analyze stories, requirements, use the products, and communicate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather information for content creation • Manage multiple projects from beginning to end • Create content independently and in collaboration • Use best practices and consistency in content creation • Gather documentation review feedback and implement improvements • Participate in documentation planning, publishing, process refinement, and improvement initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and constancy
  • Experience creating training video and technical documentation
  • Familiarity with documentation and video editing tools such as MadCap Flare, MadCap Central, and Camtasia, or similar
  • Understanding of and experience with topic-based authoring and content reuse
  • Strong project management and organization skills including the ability to manage multiple projects, documentation review cycles, and deadlines
  • Video and writing samples that demonstrate your work
