Technical Sales Support

• Developing and maintaining beneficial relationships with company principals, sales teams, and installers • Creating and maintaining dealer and sales advocacy for the Sony brand • Analyzing daily/weekly sales data to plan and execute actions to maintain and improve sell through • Educating dealer personnel on Sony and how to sell/install the Sony product line effectively. • Host trainings (Virtual and In-person) for dealers and distributors • Supporting Sales through consultative collaboration with Sony dealers in the territory • Monitoring demo product inventory and ensuring product is placed on the selling floor. • Support National, Regional, & Local industry and dealer events as a brand representative of Sony • Conducting demonstrations and directly assisting dealers as needed by answering their questions and providing solutions • Gathering, summarizing, and reporting on field and channel feedback and insights • Manage demo samples and facilitate product evaluations across the sales territory • Work with the other Regional Managers and TSS’s to achieve group goals and deliver a consistent dealer experience across the country • Be a point of contact for dealers for troubleshooting and directing them to correct settings or to the service team

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years in Custom Integration or Related Channel: Sales, Installation, Training, or Technical Support
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Willingness to learn and teach others about exciting new features, technology, and how they benefit Sony dealers and customers.
  • Must be able to work weekends/nights for Product launch events, Dealer events, or Sales and Training events. This may include: CES, CEDIA, etc. and may also include working outside normal business hours.
  • Sales focused with the ability to influence others to execute your strategies with a focus on ROI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed with the ability to build strong collaborative relationships and engage with all levels of dealer and market personnel.
