Roofing Sales Professional
H.B. Fuller
• Serve as a technical resource for H.B. Fuller roofing products, applications, and application equipment within the assigned territory. • Call on distributors, roofing contractors, equipment manufacturers, and roofing system manufacturers. • Provide onsite and remote support including product start‑ups, application troubleshooting, and ongoing technical assistance. • Conduct customer training on product specifications, application methods, equipment usage, and best practices. • Support trade shows, distributor events, and contractor engagement activities alongside sales partners. • Apply application and equipment expertise to identify unmet customer needs, investigate claims, and recommend process or product improvements based on data‑driven conclusions. • Conduct product demonstrations, document results, and communicate outcomes to customers and internal stakeholders. • Identify market trends, application challenges, and innovation opportunities; communicate insights to Sales, Marketing, and R&D. • Support new product launches through training, field trials, and customer feedback collection. • Maintain strict adherence to safety guidelines, industry regulations, and proper use of personal protective equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and or equivalent work experience
- 1–5 years of experience in technical service, applications, construction materials, roofing, or related industries
- Ability to troubleshoot basic application and equipment issues with guidance
- Willingness to travel 30–40%, including approximately 5 overnight stays per month
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company‑provided vehicle
- Experience supporting roofing systems, adhesives, or construction materials (preferred)
- Familiarity with application equipment, manufacturing processes, or field audits (preferred)
- Experience delivering customer training or conducting product demonstrations (preferred)
