You will be speaking with incoming leads that book calls with you. - Currently, 40% of calls result in sales. Qualifications - Strong desire to help people become the best that they can be. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent time management and organizational skills. - Enthusiastic, energetic, and friendly disposition. - Consultative sales experience. - Able to work at least 30-40 hours per week. Role Description We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Head of Consumer Sales to help scale Villa’s direct-to-consumer ADU business, our Altadena rebuild efforts, and the resale of our expanding Neighborhoods by Villa portfolio. This person will lead all aspects of the consumer sales organization, and execute multi-channel growth strategies that navigate complex sales cycles for individual homeowners and larger residential developments alike. Ideal candidates are sophisticated consumer sales leaders with a strong focus on customer experience, consultative sales, and a passion for solving the challenges of housing affordability. What You'll Do: Leadership & Overview - Manage Villa’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales team consisting of Home Consultants, with the opportunity to expand and build the sales organization as Villa’s D2C channels scale. - Drive D2C fee-building sales for homeowners building ADUs statewide in California and with our partners in Colorado, and single family homes for individuals rebuilding in Altadena. - Own all aspects of the sales performance of Neighborhoods by Villa developments across California and Colorado. - Manage Villa’s relationships with partner brokerages for our developments, and help execute Villa’s sales and marketing strategy in conjunction with these brokerages. - Continue to refine Villa’s end-to-end customer experience across our digital surfaces, in our model homes, and in interactions with our Home Consultants. - Partner with Villa’s marketing team to drive engaging consumer content and campaigns, and iterate on those campaigns to broaden Villa’s reach and increase customer conversion. - Manage Villa’s relationship with partner consumer lenders across our ADU, Altadena, and Neighborhoods by Villa portfolio. - Work hand in hand with Villa’s estimating, legal, and preconstruction teams to ensure the validity and accuracy of proposed consumer building projects from project inception to contract. - Monitor, report, and drive D2C performance metrics and KPIs. - Collaborate with the VP of Growth to develop quarterly OKRs and strategic initiatives. What You'll Do: Execution - Coach and mentor Home Consultants on introductory, design, and proposal calls, joining and completing calls as needed. - Drive day-to-day management of the Home Consultant team to reach and convert a broad range of D2C clients across Villa’s consumer channels. - Monitor and analyze our consumer channels sales pipelines, and the activities, metrics, and backlog of each Home Consultant. - Own the integrity of D2C Salesforce data, and manage a disciplined customer outreach program. - Partner with Villa’s marketing team to drive top-of-funnel metrics across target geographies and customer personas, and tailor our messaging and sales strategies to these personas. - Manage and coordinate consumer project feasibility with estimating, construction, and project managers. - Manage the full sales funnel and performance of our Neighborhoods by Villa developments from customer interest to contract to final close. - Manage Villa’s third-party broker relationships, reporting, and sales and marketing strategies. - Help select the right brokerages to partner with for new developments across a number of geographies. - Help define Villa’s long-term brokerage strategy, evaluating various structures, cost trade-offs, and compliance requirements. - Coordinate with Villa’s internal development team to define and execute development timelines, internal reporting, pricing strategy, marketing tactics, and customer journeys. - Manage Villa’s relationships with partner lenders, ensuring they are achieving agreed-upon SLAs and customer satisfaction metrics. - Refine our model home experience from booking tours to in-home experiential and educational elements in coordination with our Model Home Consultants. - Work closely with Villa’s design and operations teams to develop new product offerings to ensure our products and design elements meet the needs of our ADU and Altadena customers. - Partner with Villa’s Legal team to secure and finalize agreed-upon contracts and documentation. - Act as a subject matter expert on our products, services, and process, providing customers with peace of mind that we operate at a higher standard than any company in the industry. - Travel required: approximately 10%+ of the time to meet with partner brokerages, clients, internal teams, and attend industry events.
