Job Description

Regional Sales Intern

Calix

• Track Salesforce opportunities and perform sales funnel analysis. • Coordinate and facilitate calls with key stakeholders to gather data, schedule reminders, and support CRM updates and reporting needs. • Prepare, analyze, and distribute management reports using Excel, Power BI, and related tools. • Identify process improvement opportunities that support continuous enhancement of sales operations. • Learn and articulate the Calix value proposition while gaining an understanding of the market landscape. • Maintain high standards of CRM data hygiene to ensure decision‑making is grounded in accurate, high‑quality data. • Assist Sales Managers and Sales Engineers with identifying, tracking, and engaging leads for targeted campaigns. • Capture and distribute meeting notes with clear action items, ownership, and deadlines.

Job Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program, working towards a Bachelor's Degree in STEM, Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel with strong data entry accuracy.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred.
  • Strong aptitude for technology and the ability to learn new applications quickly.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively in a remote environment and adapt to fast-changing circumstances.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Able to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).
