Operations Site Lead
American Tower
• Collect data from all assigned tower assets while maintaining high standards of data quality. • Use multiple methods for data collection, including Unmanned Aircraft Systems (“UAS”). • Partner cross-functionally to manage maintenance and repairs within a geographic area for all asset types, including towers, rooftop installations, fiber-based networks, and generators. • Perform routine site audits on assets in an assigned area/zone in an efficient and cost-effective manner, utilizing UAS and other data collection tools. • Ensure all assets in said area/zone meet safety, compliance, and asset integrity standards through implementation of the Company’s Standard of Care and other management policies by identifying and documenting discrepancies and following through on needed remediation. • Effectively engage with customers and vendors to manage projects, ensuring timelines and safety standards are met during pre-construction meetings and post-construction site walks and when gathering and processing closeout data for customer construction and internally generated projects. • Meet customer service level agreements by responding quickly to any issues with the Company’s back-up generators, fiber-based networks, or emergency response to critical events.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in telecommunications or a related field required.
- Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, have a demonstrated safe driving record, and be able to travel extensively by car or truck.
- Must have, or within a year of hire obtain, FAA Part 107 Certification to operate UAS.
- Vendor management experience, real-estate management experience, or a civil construction background preferred.
- Knowledge of radio transmitters, receivers, antennas, radio frequency, wireless, or ethernet backhaul experience preferred.
- Ability to use discretion when setting priorities and resolving issues in accordance with Company best practices and standards.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to use additional Company software applications.
- While performing the role, you will need to lift up to 60 lbs. and be able to traverse developed and undeveloped construction sites.
- Approximately 40% overnight travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

Role Description The Maintenance Coordinator will primarily be responsible for providing automotive technical support and advice to Fleet Management groups, clients, and vendors related to scheduled maintenance and wear items. This position reviews repair orders according to manufacturer requirements and negotiates for proper service intervals, fluids, and pricing, prior to providing approval. This is a full-time work from home position that will allow you to work 100% from your home residence in the Kansas City Metropolitan area or surrounding KS/MO counties.
