About the role: Blackbaud is seeking an accomplished and visionary Cyber Security Manager to support AI Enablement and Delivery and to lead a dedicated and matrixed group of Cyber Security resources in support of the Company’s strategic AI journey. This strategic role blends the responsibilities of a AI security solutions architect and AI security engineering manager to enable business goals, ensure secure delivery and acceleration through repeatable processes. The successful candidate will drive secure AI solutions, adoption, ensure alignment with regulatory and security requirements, and serve as the Cyber AI subject matter expert across all cybersecurity domains. This position is pivotal in advancing cyber automation and building AI-driven solutions in support of the company’s security capabilities. What You'll be doing: - Partner with technology/engineering teams to secure AI solutions, ensuring that all implementations comply with industry standards and the company’s internal regulatory and security frameworks. - Serve as the lead cyber AI security solution architect and engage in hands-on technical discussions with enterprise architects, engineering teams, and leadership. - Ensure all AI and cyber initiatives adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Monitor changes in the regulatory environment and proactively update team practices. - Serve as the company’s authority on AI security, providing guidance across the full spectrum of cybersecurity domains and leading knowledge-sharing initiatives. - Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of Cyber Solution Architects and Cyber Engineering professionals. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. - Oversee the operation, optimization, and security of the company’s cyber cloud infrastructure. - Drive the internal adoption of AI and automation technologies to enhance cyber capabilities, streamline processes, and deliver measurable business value. What we'll expect you to have: - 10+ years of experience as an engineer with a strong technical background managing systems and infrastructure - 5+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership role managing cloud infrastructure. - In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS - Deep technical knowledge of AI technologies and frameworks. - Proven experience in architecting and delivering AI or machine learning solutions, with a focus on security and compliance. - Extensive expertise in cybersecurity principles, cloud infrastructure, and industry best practices. - Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. - Strong project management and organizational skills, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cyber cloud infrastructure management. - Background in automating security operations and integrating AI into cybersecurity workflows. - Experience managing global teams and working across multiple time zones. - Strong project management and coordination skills. Proven success building and deploying Generative AI features - Experience with prompt engineering and optimizing LLM behavior - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). Job Summary: We are seeking an Information Assurance (IA) / Cybersecurity Engineer to support and maintain the security posture of mission systems in a DoD environment.
