IT Business Systems Intern

Amynta Group

• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders, with emphasis on insurance operations and processes • Support analysis of current business processes and systems in the insurance domain to identify improvement opportunities • Help prepare project documentation, including process flows and user guides • Participate in meetings with IT and business teams to observe and contribute to solution development for insurance-related initiatives • Assist with user acceptance testing and training activities for internal insurance systems and applications • Prepare basic reports and presentations for management, highlighting findings and recommendations relevant to insurance business needs • Learn and apply company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in business systems, with a focus on insurance industry standards and compliance • Engage in professional development and training activities as assigned, including exposure to insurance-specific technologies and terminology

Job Requirements

  • A rising Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • Interest in business analysis, process improvement, and technology solutions
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of business systems and processes
  • Desire to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
