Job Description

Business Development Representative

Force Therapeutics

Force Therapeutics is hiring a Business Development Representative who will sit on the Marketing Team and focus on opportunity generation and strategic outreach initiatives. Our ideal candidate is someone who places an emphasis on strategic multichannel outreach, prospecting, and qualified pipeline identification and generation. This role will report to the Marketing Manager. As the Business Development Representative, you are an essential part of Force Therapeutics’ Marketing Team. This role is responsible for maintaining, measuring, and iterating on inbound and outbound campaigns. You’ll work with growth marketing to identify and nurture a pipeline of qualified leads, championing the value of the Force platform, and empathizing with and communicating the needs of our prospects. What you’ll do: Outreach Development: You will develop and deploy strategic outreach initiatives leveraging email, calls, and social media posts / messaging, targeting priority segments and personas. By leveraging business development best practices, performance analytics, and market insights, you will create tailored messaging for target audiences. You will customize messaging based on contact research, contact engagement with Force thought leadership and brand, and contact persona / segment. Pipeline Generation: You will create outreach efforts with the goal of expanding and enriching the sales pipeline with qualified opportunities. You will effectively communicate with prospects and understand their challenges to be able to then align their needs to Force’s digital care platform. You will be motivated by qualified meeting generation KPIs. Market Research: You will research hospitals and health systems within the U.S. and gather insights to inform outreach messaging. You will analyze your outreach performance to understand what works best to reach your target audience and proactively share learnings cross-functionally. You will also research business development best practices and innovation to continuously optimize BD tactics. Effective Sales Handoffs: You effectively gather details while conversing with prospects, and document these insights to inform sales calls. You follow opportunity generation processes and workflows within Salesforce and Hubspot. Performance Tracking: You will track and analyze outreach performance and identify areas to optimize. You will report these outcomes, recommendations, and learnings on a routine basis to create an agile approach and ensure best practices are shared cross-functionally. What you bring: Proficiency in Sales Tools: You have hands-on experience with Salesforce, Outreach, and HubSpot, and can effectively manage leads, track interactions, and generate reports that surface actionable insights into the sales process. Bonus: You bring prior experience–or strong curiosity–around embedding AI and automation into business development workflows. Exceptional Writing Ability: You possess strong written communication skills, which are essential for crafting compelling outreach emails, responding to client inquiries, and maintaining clear internal communication. You keep up to date with new BD outreach tactics. Proven Performance Metrics: You have a demonstrable history of consistently meeting or exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in previous roles, highlighting your commitment to achieving set objectives and driving results. Grit: You are recognized for your persistence and consistency, especially in following up with leads or addressing client concerns, ensuring that no opportunity slips through the cracks. Articulate Communication Skills: Both in your writing and verbally, you excel in conveying complex ideas in a clear, concise manner. You have a knack for highlighting Force's value proposition in ways that resonate with a diverse range of audiences.
