Role Description As a Senior RF Systems Architect Engineer for Advanced Electronics Systems, you’ll lead a cross-functional team responsible for envisioning and realizing the next generation of tactical radios and GPS/Navigation solutions for the US Armed Forces. - Architect radio communication systems tailored for military applications, ensuring interoperability, security, and reliability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and logistics, to integrate radio systems into broader military platforms. - Oversee testing and validation of radio systems to ensure compliance with military standards and specifications. - Provide technical expertise and support during system integration and field deployment. - Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in military communications and radio systems. - RF signal processing system design. - System modeling, simulation, and algorithm development. - Collection and analysis of communication signals in L, C, and K spectrums. - Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams. - Performance evaluation of signal processing solutions. - Signal processing background with a solid understanding of concepts like adaptive filtering, FFTs, windowing, filtering, decimation, and interpolation. - Work effectively in a cross-functional team as well as a diverse customer base. - Develop testing criteria and execute validation of designs. - Experience working in a fast-paced development environment focused on fielding complex signal processing solutions. - Proficient in signal processing algorithm development in MATLAB or Python. - Demonstrated problem-solving, verbal and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills. - Proven technical leadership skills with the ability to generate and deliver creative problem solutions. - Strong ability to manage tasks and projects independently with urgency. - Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to travel worldwide, up to 20%. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. - 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. - Agile experience preferred. Requirements - Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at time of hire. - U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within our facilities.
