IOM technology gives those in the operating room real-time insight into the nervous system, which can help surgeons reduce surgical risk by providing critical information and alerts throughout the procedure. Position Summary: As a Surgery Scheduling Coordinator at NuVasive Clinical Services, you will schedule cases for, and maintain relationships with, the scheduling offices of our client surgeons and hospitals. This is a remote position. Essential Functions: - Schedules daily and emergent cases, confirmation of all next day cases, which making sure regularly scheduled ‘check-in’ calls are made with special clients - Develops and maintains relationships with our surgeon and hospital schedulers, customizing case scheduling routines to their needs and wants - Ensures any client issues are addressed to the client's satisfaction and that those issues are documented - Coordinates with after-hours answering service on-call schedule, regional configurations, and dispatch policy - Day Shift (8am-5pm PST) - Perform other responsibilities - Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies - Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role - Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED - Two to five years of office experience demonstrating an increase in responsibility, including a minimum of 6 months of data entry experience. - Work requires the demonstrated ability to read and write well enough to proof business correspondence for typographical errors and spelling as typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma plus two years of college or business school or equivalent. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills required in order to communicate effectively with sales and technical support staff, and with customers. - Demonstrated typing and proof-reading skills. - Demonstrated ability to coach, communicate and work effectively with others in order to clarify decisions for data entry. - Call center or other experience making and receiving 50-75 calls per day is a plus. - Experience with high email volume is also a plus.
