• Provide executive-level program and project leadership for a federal-government contract • Direct and oversee project teams, task leads, and project managers to ensure coordinated execution of project workstreams • Maintain responsibility for administrative and fiscal management of the project • Ensure appropriate stewardship of project funds and efficient use of resources • Oversee the design and execution of complex healthcare data analysis • Serve as the primary point of accountability for project outcomes, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction • Provide strategic leadership and direction to project teams • Coordinate the work of project managers, task leads, analysts, and subcontractors across multiple workstreams • Manage multiple priorities and project activities while aligning with program goals and timelines • Serve as the primary liaison with federal stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication of project progress, risks, and issues • Identify and manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project performance • Guide analytic teams in the interpretation and application of Medicare and related healthcare data • Ensure collaboration across project teams and promote efficient workflows in a distributed work environment • Mentor and support project managers and task leads to strengthen team performance and professional development
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 10 years of project- or program-management experience, including senior management and supervisory responsibility
- Demonstrated experience managing mid- to large-scale federal government contracts with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with administrative and fiscal management, including oversight of project budgets and resource allocation
- At least five (5) years of experience supporting large, multi-stakeholder programs, including managing multiple tasks under contracts with federal-government stakeholders
- Extensive experience overseeing complex healthcare data-analysis projects
- At least five (5) years of experience with Medicare programs (Parts A, B, C, and D) and familiarity with Medicare payment policy
- Experience working with Medicare claims and administrative data, including various Medicare systems
- Experience overseeing analyses that use healthcare and Medicare-provider identifiers and related administrative data
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
