• Lead end-to-end execution of utility-scale and commercial projects, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and customer expectations • Develop and maintain comprehensive project management plans, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and communication plans • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, leading regular project meetings and status reviews • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, Commissioning, and Field Operations • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues; implement mitigation and recovery plans as needed • Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities • Monitor and control project budgets, costs, invoicing, and financial performance • Lead change management activities, including preparation, review, and approval of change orders • Ensure accurate and timely project documentation, reporting, and data integrity within project management systems • Support contract administration activities, including reconciliation of contracts, purchase orders, and sales orders • Coordinate site activities including training, Golden Rows, commissioning, and site visits • Drive continuous improvement of project execution processes and best practices • Mentor and provide guidance to Project Associates and Associate Project Managers as needed • Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within construction, energy, infrastructure, or related industries
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- PMP certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing projects through full lifecycle execution
- Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality management
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the solar, renewable energy, or broader energy industry
- Prior experience managing utility-scale or large commercial construction projects
- Familiarity with contract administration and change management processes
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive, customer-focused approach
- Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
