In this role, you will contribute to the sustainment of large campuses of facilities by assessing and managing real property data. You’ll work closely with clients and team members to develop effective facilities repair and maintenance strategies that directly impact the quality and sustainment of the campus. Job Type: Remote with travel 25% to 50% to locations CONUS and OCONUS. Applicants within the continental United States are invited to apply. The remote portion of the job can be performed in any state. Your Day-to-Day: - Conduct comprehensive on-site visual assessments of Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE), evaluating all systems and components associated with facilities and structures, to determine operating efficiency, capacity, and remaining life expectancy. - Utilize proprietary software tools via computers, iPads, or tablets to input, validate, and maintain facility condition assessment data. - Ensure data accuracy through systematic updates, validations, and detailed reporting. - Generate inventory condition reports and technical updates for facilities newly added to the client portfolio. - Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project goals and deadlines. - Adhere to stringent industry and company standards. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES & ABILITIES - Expertise in conducting data-driven facility assessments, including the evaluation of all systems and components of facilities and structures. - Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate field data into actionable recommendations for facilities management. - Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver critical project milestones efficiently. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to leverage iOS-based tools for reporting and data entry. - Ability to produce clear, detailed reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Demonstrated success thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments, both independently and collaboratively. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for team and client interactions. - Organized, detail-oriented approach to data accuracy, validation, and reporting. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS - High school diploma required. - Must be eligible for a DoD Position of Trust (Tier 1 level investigation) - Experience creating comprehensive reports with actionable, engineering-based recommendations preferred. - Excellent communication and time management skills. - Former military members with a background in construction or facilities management are highly encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications in construction technologies, such as NCCER, NICET, HVAC, Carpentry, OSHA 10-Hour, or BPI. - Minimum of one year of technical experience conducting assessments and analyses of systems and components associated with facilities and structures within real property assets. - Previous experience in Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC systems, Electrical systems, etc., will be considered. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires frequent standing, walking, and moving around construction sites or facilities, sometimes on uneven or hazardous terrain. The candidate must be able to climb ladders, access confined spaces, and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Visual acuity and manual dexterity are necessary for performing inspections and handling tools or equipment. Travel to different sites and flexibility in work hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, may be necessary to meet project deadlines and client needs. This position may also be eligible for remote work, in which case a suitable home workspace is required to support effective job performance.
