Role Description AECOM’s Technology Solutions Group (TSG) is seeking a OSP Engineer / Project Manager to join our Global Fiber Team. This position is also open to remote work. The OSP Engineer / Project Manager will have the following responsibilities in PM and ICT engineering and design management: Project Management - Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies. - Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and acts as a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface. - Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are executed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors. - Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Permit Coordinator is responsible for the tracking, submittals, communication, presentation, feasibility study, and research of all aerial / UG ROW permitting associated with fiber optic utility installation. Key responsibilities include: - Prepare, submit, and track permit applications - Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with all permitting requirements. - Review project plans and specifications to identify permitting needs and potential challenges. - Maintain accurate records of permit statuses, deadlines, and documentation. - Communicate effectively with permit managers, project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates on permit progress. - Resolve permitting issues and escalations in a timely manner to avoid project delays. - Stay current on regulatory changes and industry standards related to telecommunications and environmental permitting. - Assist in preparing reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
